DFU sliding bearings from DUROFIT TECHNOLOGIES are suitable for dry running, Suitable for rotating, oscillating, reciprocating and sliding movements which can operate satisfactorily without lubrication under light duty (relatively low RPM) running conditions. DFU bearings does not have water absorption properties and therefore dimensionally stable as well as high static insuring high level of dynamic load capability with good chemical resistance.
DFU bearings are made of Polytrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and lead (Pb), 0.01-0.03 mm with a mid layer thickness of sintered bronze layer, 0.2-0.35mm thick with steel backing. Surface protection is copper/tin plated coating approx 0.002mm thick.
Apart from specific high performance demanding applications like in Hydraulic, flow control, for environmental protective initiatives, there is an entire range of DFU sliding bearings which are LEAD FREE for pharmacy, food, automotive & agricultural applications
